Hamas issues warning over Hostages lives

Hamas on Sunday warned that Israel would not receive "their prisoners alive without an exchange and negotiation and meeting the demands of the resistance"

This comes after the recent emergency UN security council meeting, where the US was the only country to veto the ceasefire resolution, while the UK abstained.

Online dentistry firm goes bankrupt

Once valued at $8.9bn. Smile Direct Club, best known for selling their clear aligners, have filed for bankruptcy after accumulating a debt of almost $900m. Leaving their customers without a treatment plan for their existing aligners.

Many expressed frustration after recent payments for their treatment were made but received no service.

In the statement on its website, Smile Direct Club apologised for the inconvenience caused.

TikTok Shop Indonesia to reopen after $1.5bn deal

TikTok is investing $1.5 billion in GoTo, parent company of Tokopedia, to restart its online shop in Indonesia.

The country had previously banned sales on social media to protect offline sellers from e-commerce giants, forcing TikTok to close its online shopping business. Under the deal, TikTok will purchase 75 percent stake in the popular local online shopping platform Tokopedia.

The partnership aims to transform Indonesia's e-commerce sector and create new job opportunities. The deal is expected to close in 2024, and the first campaign under this partnership will be launched on Tuesday.
